International real estate firm, Harcourts has reported strong growth within its Indonesian operations, says the group’s Head of International, Tina Sander.
Miss Sander recently spent a week in Jakarta, working closely with the Harcourts Indonesia corporate team, and says that the group is starting to show strong signs of growth.
During her trip, Miss Sander developed business plans with members of the Harcourts Indonesia corporate team and visited four of the group’s new sales offices.
“During my recent visit, we conducted a business owner meeting where we discussed what parts of the Harcourts tools and systems are working and what needs editing and enhancing.
“We’re constantly focused on our team, ensuring they are provided with the best possible resources to facilitate growth within their businesses,” Miss Sander said.
Miss Sander also spent time with business owner of Harcourts Bali, Handi, to develop a plan for cross selling and holiday letting for Harcourts.
“Handi is really taking advantage of the international network that he is part of. Being a member of the Harcourts group is opening up so many new opportunities for him,” Miss Sander said.
In the past few weeks, Harcourts Indonesia has signed on two new sales offices – a former Century 21 office with 20 years in the industry and a focus on new developments, and another in eastern Jakarta which will extend Harcourts’ trading area.
The group is also recruiting a general manager for its Indonesian operations to start during November.
“Things are going well for Harcourts Indonesia and the growth that they are displaying is incredibly encouraging. I’m confident that this momentum is going to continue well into the future,” Miss Sander said.
Global real estate firm, Harcourts continues to expand their international operations, with the group experiencing significant growth in Hong Kong and the USA.
Tina Sander, Head of International for Harcourts, has recently visited the Harcourts teams in Hong Kong and the USA, and says that they are all showing significant signs of growth.
After coming on board earlier this year, Harcourts Hong Kong is officially launching the Harcourts brand and systems on the 16th of October with a recruitment event and brand conference to follow.
The Hong Kong team have also recruited a new General Manager, Joseph Ho – a highly experienced and award winning figure within the local real estate industry.
“It’s a pleasure to have Joseph on board with the Hong Kong team. He has a recognised track record of success in business and sales, and has a past history as a trainer and franchisee for some of the world’s leading real estate brands,” Ms Sander said.
Ms Sander also recently visited the Harcourts USA team where several members of the group including Managing Director, Mike Green and Head of the Harcourts Academy, Irene Green attended the Californian Relators Expo (C.A.R Expo).
The C.A.R Expo features one-of-a-kind educational, networking and professional development opportunities, specifically designed for Californian realtors.
“Things are really pumping for Harcourts around the globe. All of our international operations are growing steadily and are adopting the Harcourts tools and systems,” Ms Sander said.
“It’s incredibly encouraging and I’m confident that this momentum is going to continue well into the future,” Ms Sander continued.
Harcourts continues to grow internationally and to facilitate this growth, the group have recently promoted Tina Sander as Head of International.
As Head of International, Ms Sander is responsible for the operations and growth of Harcourts’ International Department and each country that the group currently conducts business in outside of Australasia, including the United States, South Africa, Indonesia and China.
As part of her busy role, Ms Sander travels extensively to each of the countries to ensure each team is functioning effectively, the culture is strong and they are utilising The Harcourts Way, including the business planning, systems, tools, training and marketing products that Harcourts provides to their teams globally
Since commencing with Harcourts five and a half years ago, Ms Sander has operated in a variety of roles, constantly developing and evolving within the company.
Tina began her time at Harcourts as Academy Administration and Reception support with Harcourts Queensland, then after 18 months, jumped at the chance to move into the role of Business Operations Manager.
After nearly two years as Business Operations Manager, Tina was then appointed as International Operations Manager for Harcourts in November 2009 before accepting the Head of International role in March 2012.
Mike Green, Harcourts International’s Managing Director, is confident that Ms Sander’s passion and expertise will help to drive the group’s international growth strategy.
